This is an amazing compilation of U.S. Navy carrier operations in the Pacific during World War II.  Plenty of landings and plenty of crashes.  These are real men…very impressive to say the least.

Here’s a cool video clip of a B2 in flight refueling with a KC-135.  Unfortunately there is no audio, but it is still pretty cool anyway.

Here’s a cool video of the Russian MI-28A/N Havoc Attack Helicopter. It is a day/night helicopter introduced in 1997. It can withstand direct impact by 7.62mm and 12.7mm bullets. Also has an anti tank missile with 8 km range and can hold up to 20 80mm unguided rockets. For more details on this helicopter, you can read all about it here.

In the 1960’s an experiment was conducted to see if it was feasable to conduct C-130 operations on an aircraft carrier.  Although they were able to land, the margin of error was too close for comfort.
